great article! just a couple of small things:

$ awk '!found[$1]++' # without dupes

(missing input files)

$ cat > Atest
1
2
2
3

$ cat > Btest
5
1

$ sort Atest Btest | uniq -d
1
2

will show duplicates within a single multigroup as well as items common to them both.
