I mostly agree with your must-have Windows software list and I even wasn't aware of a few tools. Good post.

My notable changes (similar to some previous comments) are:
1. Far Manager 2.0 -- the best file manager
6. VirtualBox 3.x -- lighter than VMware bloated products (but yes, Workstation is much better than Server)
14. FARR -- more efficient than Launchy
19. PDF-XChange Viewer -- feature rich PDF viewer
22. 7-zip -- WinRAR better? stereotype
24-26. K-Lite Codec Pack Mega -- contains almost all widely used codecs and MPC Home Cinema, practically lacks only QuickTime Alternative.
25. VLC -- it's better to have this one too, just in case
35. CDBurnerXP -- almost Nero (v6)
37. DAEMON Tools Lite -- the best image mounter
42. gVim -- for convenience ;)

My additions would be:
43. XnView -- the best image viewer (really, much much better than wacky IrfanView)
44. XMing X Server -- the best X server
45. MyDefrag -- the best defragmentation tool (some of you may know its predecessor, JkDefrag)
46. foobar2000 -- the best music player
47. PDFCreator -- the best PDF creator
48. UltraVNC -- the best VNC tool
49. Avira AntiVir -- the best free antivirus
50. System Info for Windows -- the best system information gathering tool
51. Notepad++ -- name says all
