Hello!
When I got my first computer I used IZarc as an archiver, I think it's much better than WinRAR. Have a try :)

On this site you can find HijackThis download (not sure which one of these is official, probably the TrendMicro's one):

And one that I think should be included in the list is Notepad++. It's a very nice text editor which I'm sure you have heard of already but just forgot to add :)
