Choosing a framework for a project is like answering a question: which one is better -- a formula racing car or a truck? The correct answer is -- neither. The best option is to use a bike… that can fly… pulling behind a row of train vagons filled with nitroglycerin and is able to land them safely.

In my eyes this is exactly the difference between using a framework and using the full power of the base programming language with lightweight abstractions. Yes, the cars are more advanced and suited for specific use cases. No, programing is not the real world -- the simpler solutions are always more powerful.

Side note: you may get a little wet when flying in the rain. Just remember -- you can always fly higher above the clouds ;)
