TeX has found at least one bug in every Pascal compiler it's been run on, I think, and at least two in every C compiler. |

Console2 - to replace windows "console", though it can't be compared with "real" ones.
Virtuawin - for multiple virtual desktops on windows. What is extra hot about it - keybindings to switch desktops/manage windows.
both use sourceforge as hosting (to make looking for them easier, can't post direct links right now)
